A storied Sashiko that draws roots all the way back to the Tenmei era (1781-1789) of Japanese history, “Bushu” Sashiko is always dyed in Natural Indigo and produced in the cities of Hanyu & Kazo, in Saitama Prefecture. A double weave Sashiko construction, the face of the fabric is a dark indigo (Kon in Japanese) and the inlay of the fabric features lighter indigo hue yarns (Asagi in Japanese). Featuring a shoulder panel, waistband and pocket bags all lined with a navy chambray, custom engraved “Momotaro” metal buttons & hip pockets for maximum functionality, these heavyweight pieces are some of the heaviest examples of Indigo Sashiko we have seen to date. These Natural Indigo Sashiko jackets are now live on the site alongside a slew of new items from The Peach Boys as part of their third & final delivery from F/W’25-26.
